This chessboard is a faithful reproduction of a group of chess pieces and strategy games dating from the 12th century. It is probably one of the few surviving complete medieval chess sets and have been described as the best-known chess sets in history, although it is unclear whether the surviving pieces may actually make up an original set. Originally made of walrus tusk they are a unique piece of history.
We propose a faithful reproduction in lost wax bronze with golden and black patinas.
